Self Care During Times of Uncertainty
During this time of uncertainty, self-care is essential. Stressful times invite us to practice self-love and care in ways beyond our normal routines.
If you are seeking ways to connect with your intuition and inner wisdom, consider having compassion for your current experiences. Compassion and gratitude extended towards yourself and others opens heartfelt connections and hold space for all the transformation occurring on our planet and with humanity at this time.
If you aren't sure how self-love expresses, try these actions for self-care.
- Speak more loving words about/towards yourself. Soften your expectations of yourself and others right now.
- Exercise. Move your body. Intend that through movement you are releasing energies that are not yours and that no longer serve you.
- Get outdoors more. Keep a safe distance from others and walk. Be in nature.
- Unplug from your electronics including your phone, tv, computer and especially the news.
- Get a quiet time alone. Be with yourself. Connect with what you are feeling and experiencing without judgment.
- Drink more water. Nourish your body.
- Breathe and meditate. Take in Spirit. Listen to your guidance. Allow yourself to be nourished by All That Is.
